Documentary Screening: ‘Leviathan’ about our collective potential
#ConsciousLeadership #event
‘Leviathan’ is part art project and part documentary; it’s a transformative inquiry into how we can reimagine our systems from the inside out.
„I believe it is more important than ever that we truly listen to one another in order to understand the realities of those living in different echo chambers.
This is an invitation and an attempt to bring together different Berlin-based subcultures through this screening in one shared space.“

„The deeper the despair, the more intense the hope. That is the dialectic of hope. The negativity of despair deepens hope. The higher hope soars, the deeper its roots. In this, it differs from optimism. Optimism lacks negativity. Amid deep despair, absolute hope makes action possible again. Absolute hope involves an unshakeable belief that there is a sense in things. It is only this belief in sense that gives us orientation and puts us on a sure footing.“
Reviews Conscious Leadership Events
Between June 13th and June 26th, screenings will be held in cities all over the world, organised by diverse groups, organisations and private circles. The events are non-profit and aim to bring people together to move into new territory by creating real connections and sparking authentic conversations around important topics of today. Through embodied storytelling, myth, and cultural analysis, it guides us into the shadow of modern life to uncover the sacred potential waiting on the other side. It invites us to reclaim meaning, reconnect with our inner and collective wisdom, and build new narratives that can guide us toward regeneration—personally and collectively.
The film is a story as much as it is educational. The trailer is dark and alluring, not shying away from the realities of the crises we’re facing. From there, it moves into solutions—both psychospiritual and practical—but perhaps not in the way one might anticipate. It’s a journey through the shadow toward the sacred.
Starring some of the brightest and most heterodox thinkers in their fields, Leviathan investigates why trust in our institutions is declining so rapidly, what social media is really doing to our hearts and minds, and how we can move into a new economic paradigm that chooses life over blind extraction.Leviathan is a story of collective potential, revealing how we can transform the mindset that drives our broken systems into a source of creativity, imagination, and radical hope. Starring Yanis Varoufakis, Nora Bateson, Douglas Rushkoff, Minna Salami, Josh Schrei, Alexa Firmenich, and John Vervaeke.
Alexander Beiner is known as an author, journalist, and facilitator focused on bringing new ways of seeing and being from the margins of culture into the mainstream.

Lena Hirche
Lena Hirche is an interdisciplinary designer driven by a desire for more beauty, both within and around us.
As part of her master’s thesis on “how the healing power of psychedelics can be carefully harnessed to help people in industrialized societies reconnect mind, body, and nature”, she engaged deeply with the work of Alexander Beiner and has been following his practice since.
Lena believes that systemic change lies in the hands of the collective. But facing ourselves on all collective levels requires courage and personal commitment, as well as a willingness to hold paradoxes and endure the unexplainable.
She also believes it is more important than ever that we truly listen to one another in order to understand the realities of those living in different echo chambers.
This is both an invitation and an attempt to bring together different Berlin-based subcultures through this screening in one shared space.
